Junior Instructional Designer

Job Description

  • As an Instructional Designer your job will be to learn new subject matter and then write about it for web sites and paper-based manuals. You will also work with a team to help develop creative exercises and visuals to enhance the training experience.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree. Majors including but not limited to, English, Psychology, Language, Sociology, Political Science, Philosophy, Education, History, Humanities
  • Ability to write clearly and effectively
  • Ability to learn, organize, and communicate new subject matter
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to use the Microsoft Office Product Suite, especially MS Word

Beneficial Skills

  • Computer-savvy with some knowledge of HTML
  • Experience creating and organizing content for websites
  • Experience developing manuals, brochures, newsletters, or other print-based materials
  • Knowledge of Instructional Systems Design
