Graphic Designer

Job Description

The PerformTech Graphic Design Department is seeking a graphic designer who is team oriented, sensitive to deadlines, and enjoys a creative challenge. You will be responsible for producing electronic media for computer based learning and custom interactive applications. You must have expert skill with Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver [with full knowledge of HTML], Illustrator [or equivalent], and a good understanding of the print production process [experience with InDesign, Quark, or PageMaker beneficial].

An electronic or web-based portfolio is required for consideration.

Required Skills

• Experience developing manuals, brochures, newsletters, or other print-based materials
• Knowledge of Instructional Systems Design
• Years of experience designing for computer based learning or interactive media.
• Strong and creative portfolio of work.
• Expert experience in designing for the web [Section 508 experience is a strong plus]. Expert experience in designing and animating with Flash.
• Experience in designing and producing print related media.
• Strong team work ethic [three past work references required].
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

Beneficial Skills

• ActionScript programming [send sample .fla[s] for evaluation please].
• 3D modeling and animation.
• Video or film production.
• Audio production.
